Live edge oak. The rim of this bowl reminds me of Suiseki, the small rock forms that are presented on wooden bases (Diaza) for special occasions. For me the rim has two peaks opposite one another on the rim. Like Mount Hotaka and Mount Shirane separated yet connected across the Japanese Alps. It is 8 in. in diameter.
